The Method Lab
The Method Lab is looking for anyone who has an interest in theater! We will be putting on an eclectic night of staged readings of short brand-new plays written by us (YOU!), as well as monologues and/or short scenes from other plays. It's a snappy smorgasborg of little dramatic snippets and fun new work, which we're calling "Playdate," and the date is set for Sunday Sept. 13th. Let us know if you are an actor interested in doing a monologue (which you may already have prepared for something else, even) and/or being in a staged reading, or if you are someone interested in doing something else such as writing a short play, directing one, stand-up, a dance piece, currating a film, etc. Time committment will be very minimal and flexible; basically, we're offering a fun way to start the year off by getting your feet wet with a little theater, even if you're wet behind your ears (that is, inexperienced). We can offer guidance for first time actors, directors, and writers. We're just looking for warm bodies and enthusiasm!!! If you have that, email willcordeiro@gmail.com
